U.S. doctors to convey experience in crisis situations to National Army colleagues

Chisinau, 24 March /MOLDPRES/- The medical service of the North Carolina National Guard carries out a training course focused on pre-hospital stage medical insurance organisation for mine clearance teams for a group of National Army doctors and nurses.
A lieutenant colonel doctor, head of the National Army's medical service Sergiu Cirlan has said the training was aimed at familiarizing Moldovan specialists with the American practice of providing medical assistance, as well as exchanging experience between doctors of the two states.
Cirlan noted that the agenda of seminar, which brought together 20 medical employees of the National Army's units and institutions, included theoretical and practical sessions where participants were trained to provide medical aid in various situations.
This week, nurses of the Central Military Clinical Hospital and Advisory Diagnostic Centre are trained by a group of U.S. specialists on how to provide medical assistance in case of disaster.
