Premier deems Romania's experience as important for Moldova's European integration

Chisinau, 27 March /MOLDPRES/ - Prime Minister Chiril Gaburici today met Romanian Foreign Ministry’s Minister Delegate for Relations with Romanians Abroad Angel Tilvar, on a 26-27 March official visit to Moldova, the government’s communication and media relations department has reported.
The two officials highlighted the special character of the Moldovan-Romanian relations and the progress of bilateral trade. At the same time, the sides spoke out for giving a fresh impetus to turning to account the cooperation potential in various fields.
Prime Minister Chiril Gaburici praised the constant support of Romania in promoting reforms and projects to modernise Moldova, particularly in the process of implementing the European agenda.
"We have the firm determination to advance towards achieving the objective of EU integration and get closer and closer to the European standards. In this respect, Romania's experience is very valuable for us, "said the prime minister.
For his part, Romanian Foreign Ministry’s Minister Delegate for Relations with Romanians Abroad Angel Tilvar reconfirmed willingness to continue modernisation projects in the country and Romania's support for Moldova's European path.
"We hope to further have relations based on a spirit of collaboration, identifying common subjects and democratic development of Moldova and Romania. I think we are the partners you may count on, "said the Romanian official.
