Moldovan premier holds phone talk with Transnistrian leader

Chisinau, 1 April /MOLDPRES/ - Prime Minister Chiril Gaburici held a phone talk with Transnistrian leader Yevgeny Shevchuk today. The sides agreed to suspend introduction of car insurance at the entrance into the Transnistrian region. This measure was to be introduced starting from 1 April, but it was postponed till 14 April, the government’s communication and media relations department has reported.
The officials also agreed on the activity of the working group on bolstering confidence in transport, made up of Moldovan and Transnistrian experts, be immediately focused on working out a solid solution in civil auto liability.
The talk on this issue was launched during working meetings of political representatives, as well as at a 14 March meeting between Chiril Gaburici and Yevgeny Shevchuk. At the meeting, the officials also agreed on ensuring the movement of people between the two banks of Dniester in a simplified regime during the Easter holidays.
