Moldovan speaker welcomes new IMF Mission head

Chisinau, 1 April /MOLDPRES/ - Parliament Speaker Andrian Candu met an experts team of the International Monetary Fund (IMF), on a visit to Moldova, on 30 March – 3 April, in order to introduce a new head of IMF Mission to Moldova, the parliament’s communication and public relations department has reported.
Ivanna Vladkova-Hollar was appointed new IMF Mission head, and will replace Max Alier, transferred to IMF’s African Department.
Ivanna Vladkova-Hollar has previously served as IMF deputy unit chief, mission head to Macedonia.
Andrian Candu welcomed Ivanna Vladkova-Hollar to Moldova and wished her every success in this office. At the same time, Candu thanked her predecessor Max Alier for the good cooperation with the Moldovan authorities, for the viable development of Moldova.
The last IMF experts’ mission was in Moldova on 25 September – 7 October 2014. The total amount of unpaid credits, provided to Moldova by IMF so far, is of about 504 million dollars.
