Three Moldovans evacuated from Yemen

Chisinau, 3 April /MOLDPRES/ - The Foreign and European Integration Ministry (MAEIE) informs that three Moldovan citizens (two adults and a child) were evacuated from Yemen on 2 April, following the bursting out of military confrontations on the territory of this state, the Foreign and European Integration Ministry’s information and media communication service has reported.
The evacuation was possible, together with other Russian citizens, via a Russian military charter flight, from Sana’a to Moscow. The operation was coordinated by MAEIE, with the assistance of Moldova’s diplomatic mission in Russia, which ensured the needed logistic assistance.
MAEIE thanks the Russian authorities for the support provided to evacuate the Moldovan citizens.
Moldovans present on Yemen’s territory are asked to provide information about their location and contact details to the General Consular Affairs Department at MAEIE, in order to be able to be contacted.
