Moldovan government approves draft budget for 2015

Chisinau, 3 April /MOLDPRES/- The state budget revenues for 2015 will reach 30.338 billion lei, and expenses will stand at 34.315 billion lei. The figures are included in the draft budget law, approved by the government today.
The budget deficit will be estimated at about four billion lei. Under forecasts, the Gross Domestic Product in 2015 will decrease by one per cent, after a 4.6-per cent rise in 2014. Finance Minister Anatol Arapu said the GDP's drop was determined by the regional economic situation.
The draft sees that 65.2 per cent of all public expenses will be directed to the social sector. The economic spending will account for 17.2 per cent of public expenses.
The annual average fluctuation of the Moldovan leu's exchange rate will vary around 19.3 lei per 1 U.S. dollar, according to forecasts. At the same time, a 10-per cent decrease in exports and a 15-per cent one in imports is estimated in 2015 against 2014.
To organise and hold general local elections, 65 million lei will be earmarked. Under the draft, the subsidizing fund of farmers in 2015 will reach 610 million lei.
The draft is to be considered and adopted by the parliament.
