Moldovan cabinet approves state social insurance budget for 2015

Chisinau, 3 April /MOLDPRES/- The revenues of the state social insurances budget will increase by 12 per cent in 2015 against 2014, reaching 13.4 billion lei. The expenses will record a similar rise and will stand at 13.5 billion lei. The draft social insurances budget was approved by the cabinet today.
The budget deficit will be about 88 million lei. Most money from the budget will be spent for paying pensions and social insurance allowances.
While elaborating the draft, the government took into account that, in 2015, the pensions and disability allowances have been indexed by 7.95 per cent. At the same time, the quantum of social allowance for children in case of losing earner will increase from 15 per cent to 30 per cent in 2015 of the minimum indexed pension for age limit.
The document says that the death benefit will be similar to the previous year one - 1,100 lei. The childbirth allowance will remain unchanged, worth 3,100 lei upon the birth of the first child and 3,400 lei following the birth of each next child.
The parliament is to consider and adopt the draft.
