More Moldovan settlements disconnected from power after rains

Chisinau, 7 April /MOLDPRES/- Five settlements from three districts of Moldova have been cut from electricity, as a result of heavy rains and wind of last night.

Red Union Fenosa company's press officer Vasile Gribincea said that it was about the villages of Malcoci and Nimoreni of Ialoveni district, Filipeni and Nicolaevca villages of Leova district and Bozieni village, Hincesti district.

"The company's specialists are currently working to restore electricity".

According to the press centre of the Civil Protection and Emergency Situations Service, no major damage have been registered after the current rains and wind.

The State Hydro-meteorological Service has issued yellow code for strong wind on 7-8 April.
