Chisinau, 9 April /MOLDPRES/- The cabinet voted a string of decisions on political responsibility on draft laws focused on budget, fiscal and customs policy, state budget, state social insurance budget and mandatory health insurance funds for 2015, during a meeting held on 8 April, the government's communication and media relations department has reported.
Prime Minister Chiril Gaburici reasoned the decisions that elaboration of the drafts had delayed, and the country needs firm actions to ensure stability. "We realize that we cannot expect an urgent approval in the parliament from the position of minority government. There is no time, this process could last weeks or even months. Normally, these documents had to be adopted by more than half a year ago", he noted.
The premier said the responsibility had been dictated by the need to continue negotiations with foreign partners. "The government comes up with simplification and improvement for citizens and business environment. This responsibility is an absolute necessity for the country and we rely on understanding of MPs", the premier said.
Gaburici also said that the increase in wages and pensions was fully covered by budget. At the same time, there is scheduled improvement on administration and reduction in VAT rates. Moreover, the medical insurance policy for 2015 remains the same against 2014, amounting to 4,056 lei.
The government will present the decisions in the plenum.
