Chisinau, 9 April /MOLDPRES/ - The parliamentary faction of the Democratic Party (PDM) has a new MP. It is about Corneliu Padnevici, whose mandate was validated by the Constitutional Court (CC) today.
Parliament Speaker Andrian Candu has made an announcement to this effect at the parliament meeting. Padnevici will replace Efrosinia Gretu, who gave up her lawmaker mandate in favour of the office of head of the southern Leova district.
Also today, the parliament ruled to appoint Ruslan Berzoi as member of the Certification Commission at the Justice Ministry for a five-year mandate. The candidates for this post were selected by contest.
The Certification Commission has nine members appointed by the Moldovan president, parliament and government. The mandates of three of them have expired.
