Princess Margareta, Prince Radu of Romania to celebrate Easter Night in Chisinau

Chisinau, 10 April /MOLDPRES/ - Their Royal Highnesses Princess Margareta and Prince Radu of Romania will celebrate the Easter Night in Chisinau.
On Saturday evening, their Royal Highnesses will attend a service of taking the Holy Fire, officiated by Metropolitan of Chisinau and All Moldova, Most Right Reverend Vladimir at the Birth of God Metropolitan Cathedral.
On the same night, Princess Margareta and Prince Radu will participate in the Easter service officiated by Metropolitan of Bessarabia and Exarch of the Land, Most Right Reverend Petru at the "Sfintii Petru si Pavel" (St Peter and Paul) church.
On visit to Chisinau, their Royal Highnesses will have meetings with Parliament Speaker Andrian Candu, Chisinau Mayor Dorin Chirtoaca and President of the Academy of Sciences Gheorghe Duca.
Under a press release issued by the Press Service of His Majesty King Michael I of Romania, it is for the first time after 73 years that the Romanian Royal Family enters the Metropolitan Cathedral of Chisinau. On 31 October 1942, King Michael and Queen Mother Helen attended a religious service officiated on the occasion of the Cathedral's restoration. This was the last visit by King Michael and Queen Mother Helen to Chisinau.
