Chisinau, 10 April /MOLDPRES/ - Prime Minister Chiril Gaburici met Transnistrian leader Evgeny Shevchuk in Tiraspol today. The officials signed a decision on mechanism of cooperation of insurance agents of the two banks of Dniester as to mandatory civil auto liability (RCA) agreements, the government’s communication and media relations department has reported.
The document will allow insuring the rights of drivers and damaged parties in case of car crash on both banks of Dniester, regardless of the place of issue of liability or place of car accident. ”It is a very good solution for all citizens, as it will exclude double insurance. The today meeting shows once again the both sides’ openness for cooperation,” Gaburici said.
The officials also approached more important issues, such as: boosting of dialogue between the sectorial working groups, free movement and situation of Transnistria-based Moldova-run schools subordinated to the Moldovan Education Ministry. „Here we also found solutions. The sides also addressed the economic issues in the region. The officials referred especially to the Transnistrian products, which are exported to the European market. Gaburici said „we still have a lot to do to this chapter, but we are open for cooperation and want these products to reach new markets”.
