More Moldovans evacuated from Yemen

Chisinau, 13 April /MOLDPRES/ - The Foreign and European Integration Ministry informs that on the evening of 12 April to 13 April, another 10 Moldovan citizens were evacuated from Yemen, 7 adults and 3 children, the Foreign and European Integration Ministry’s information and media communication service has reported.
The Moldovan citizens were evacuated, together with other Russian citizens as well as from other countries, through a Russian military charter flight. The operation was made possible through the combined efforts of the Working Group of the Foreign and European Integration Ministry, which maintained regular contact with the Russian authorities and the Embassy of Moldova in Moscow, who took over citizens and offered them the necessary consular protection.
Furthermore, the Foreign Ministry intervened with the International Organization for Migration to Moldova, for citizens in difficulty, paid the cost of the flight from Moscow to Chisinau and will provide the necessary assistance for their subsequent integration in society.
Previously, 12 other Moldovan citizens were evacuated from Yemen on 2-5 April. So far, since the outbreak of the military confrontations, 22 Moldovans were evacuated.
