Moldovan foreign minister meets more Qatari officials

Chisinau, 14 April /MOLDPRES/ - Deputy Prime Minister, Foreign and European Integration Minister Natalia Gherman met Qatari Prime Minister, Interior Minister Abdullah Bin Nasser Bin Khalifa Al-Thani and Foreign Minister Khalid Bin Mohammed Al Attiyah in Doha on 13 April, the Foreign and European Integration Ministry’s information and media communication services has reported de.

The officials tackled the interest of both sides to deepen the bilateral cooperation in political and economic areas, especially as to attract Qatari investments into the agro-industrial infrastructure. The sides also approached the cooperation in the energy sector, including the diversification of supply of energy sources to Moldova. At the same time, the officials found the presence of collaboration potential in the cultural and humanitarian fields.

The sides also agreed on the need to advance the political dialogue via the exchange of high-level visits. Abdullah Bin Nasser Bin Khalifa Al-Thani accepted Gherman’s invitation to pay a visit to Moldova.

A Moldovan delegation, led by Natalia Gherman, pays a visit to Qatar on 12-14 April.
