Air temperature to increase to +25 Celsius degrees in Moldova on next seven days

Chisinau, 21 April /MOLDPRES/- The State Hydro-meteorological Service has forecast a maximal air temperature of +25 Celsius degrees during the day for 22-28 April.

According to meteorologists, short electrical storm rains are expected in places in the beginning and at the end of the period.

The night-time air temperature will oscillate between 0 and +6 degrees on 22-24 April, and between -1 and -3 degrees on the ground and in the air in some regions on 22-23 April.

During the day, the air temperature will gradually increase from +4 - +9 degrees to +8 - +13 degrees on 25-28 April.

Also, the temperature will rise from +8 +13 to +20 +25 degrees by the end of the period.

According to State Hydro-meteorological Service's multi-annual data /1886-2014/ on this period, the highest air temperature in Chisinau was +22.7 degrees Celsius on 22 April 1950 and 1964, and the lowest -1.2 degrees Celsius on 22 April 1959.
