Government approves draft on ratification of Moldova - Turkey cooperation protocol

Chisinau, 22 April /MOLDPRES/ - The government today approved a draft law on the ratification of a Protocol of Cooperation between Moldova and Turkey on terms and conditions for development, signed in Chisinau in early April.

The document stipulates providing of technical assistance to Moldova in the sectors of economy, trade, infrastructure, technologies, law, public administration, education, culture and health care.

The protocol is to be ratified by the parliament.

The diplomatic relations between Moldova and Turkey were established in 1992. According to the National Statistics Bureau, the trade between the two countries amounted to about 370 million dollars in 2014.
