Special consultations on Transnistrian conflict settlement held in Vienna

Chisinau, 22 April /MOLDPRES/ - Special consultations of the participants in the Standing Conference on political issues in the negotiation of Transnistrian conflict settlement (the five-plus-two format) took place in Vienna on 21 April, the Bureau for Reintegration has reported.

The sides reaffirmed commitments to observe the fundamental documents of the five-plus-two format (Standing Conference), analysed the previous understandings of the negotiating process and addressed the issue of the mechanisms to ensure their implementation.

They also considered a number of issues concerning the future work of the Standing Conference.

These special consultations were held at the headquarters of the Austrian Federal Ministry for Europe, Integration and Foreign Affairs, at an invitation by Foreign Minister Sebastian Kurz.
