Moldovan MPs to attend parliamentary training programme in Brussels

Chisinau, 27 April /MOLDPRES/- A group of lawmakers will participate in a parliamentary training programme in Brussels. The event takes place on 27-28 April and is organised by the NATO Parliamentary Assembly, the parliament's communication and public relations department has reported.
The MPs will attend a string of seminars at the NATO Headquarters, NATO Parliamentary Assembly and European Parliament. The main topics of the talks with European officials will focus on the Moldova-EU Association Agreement and role of EU-Moldova Parliamentary Association Committee, principles and mechanisms of parliamentary control over security and defence, Moldova's relations with NATO and regional context.
The parliamentary delegation is made up of MPs Valeriu Strelet, the head of parliamentary delegation to NATO PA, Tudor Deliu, the deputy head of the legal commission for rules and immunity, Ion Casian, the deputy head of the commission on human rights and interethnic relations, Angel Agache, George Mocanu, Aliona Gota, Eugeniu Nichiforciuc, Constantin Tutu, Ion Apostol and Mihaela Iacob.
