Chisinau, 28 April /MOLDPRES/- The state budget law and state social insurances budget law for 2015 were published in the Official Paper (Monitorul Oficial) today.
Under the law, the state budget revenues for 2015 will amount to 30.338 billion lei, and the expenses will stand at 34.315 billion lei.
The budget deficit will be about four billion lei. According to forecasts, the Gross Domestic Product in 2015 will decrease by 1 per cent, after a 4.6-per cent rise in 2014.
The law sees that 65.2 per cent of all public spending will be directed to the social sector. The economic expenses will represent 17.2 per cent of the public expenses.
The state social insurances budget revenues will increase by 12 per cent in 2015 against 2014, reaching 13.4 billion lei. The expenses will register a similar rise, amounting to 13.5 billion lei.
Most money of the budget will be spent for paying pensions and social insurances benefits. In 2015, the pensions and invalidity benefits were indexed by 7.95 per cent.
The draft state budget law and draft social insurances budget law for 2015 were approved by the government via assuming responsibility in early April. Subsequently, the documents were promulgated by President Nicolae Timofti.
