Nine Moldovans injured in traffic accident in Germany

Chisinau, 4 May /MOLDPRES/ - The Foreign and European Integration Ministry (MAEIE) informs that nine Moldovans, of whom two children aged 2 and, respectively, 8 years, as well as two Romanians were involved in an accident that occurred in Germany, nearby the Nuremberg city, on 3 May.
The MAEIE information and media communication service specifies that the injured persons were put in nearby hospitals, of whom three are in serious condition, yet out of danger.
The bus, heading to Berlin, is owned by a transport company from Iasi, Romania. The local police said that the accident had taken place because of excessive speed.
The Moldovan General Consulate in Frankfurt monitors the evolution of the situation and is in permanent touch with German authorities, in order to provide the needed consular assistance to people involved in the crush.
