1. Events in Moldova

The parliamentary commissions for social protection, health and family, as well as public administration and regional development, environment and climate change hold meetings at the Agriculture and Food Industry Ministry at 10:00.

Parliament Speaker Andrian Candu participates in the opening of an international festival titled "Poets' European Spring 2015" at the Writers' Union at 11:00.

The parliament's Standing Bureau convenes in meeting at the parliament at 14:00.

The Chamber of Auditors organises a roundtable on cooperating with the parliament within a twining project at the Palace of the Republic on 5-6 May at 09:00.

The National Bank, in collaboration with the European Fund for Southeast Europe Development Facility (EFSE DF) organises a roundtable on security of cashless payments at the National Bank at 10:00.

The head of the Centre for Initiatives and Monitoring of Public Authorities, Ion Dron, and Pavel Midrigan, the president of the Justice and Democracy NGO invite to a conference on making the draft law on Prosecution more transparent at IPN at 10:00.

The Constantin Brancusi exhibition centre hosts a personal painting exhibition by Anatol Danilisin between 28 April and 10 May.

The National Arts Museum stages an exhibition by graphic artists from Hungary till 10 May. 

 

2. Guests and delegations to Moldova

The first round of negotiations on the Agreement on mutual promotion and protection of investments between the governments of Moldova and Sultanate of Oman is held on 4 - 6 May. In this context, Director General of the Secretariat of the Supreme Committee for Planning of the Sultanate of Oman in the field of economy, Hamudi Ben Abdullah Al-Alawi pays an official visit to Moldova.

 

3. Moldovan missions abroad

Prime Minister Chiril Gaburici pays a working visit to Kiev, Ukraine, to meet Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko and his Ukrainian counterpart Arseniy Yatsenyuk and discus regional security and bilateral ties.

Deputy Prime Minister, Economics Minister Stephane Bride attends an international forum on the role of political leaders in ensuring state security in the town of Garmisch–Partenkirchen, Germany, on 5 - 6 May.
