Ukraine open to implement joint projects with Moldova, premier says

Chisinau, 7 May /MOLDPRES/ - Ukraine is willing to implement joint projects with Moldova, which would bring common benefits to citizens of the two states. Prime Minister Chiril Gaburici made statements to this effect today, after a visit paid to Kiev, Ukraine, on 6 May.
Gaburici said that, during the meeting with his Ukrainian counterpart Arseniy Yatsenyuk, the officials broached the development of bilateral economic ties, energy and cyber security, and border integrated management.
“I requested Arseniy Yatsenyuk to exclude the 10-per-cent tax to export of Moldovan products to Ukraine, and we will get an answer as soon as possible,” Gaburici said.
At the same time, Gaburici also met former Georgian President, present Advisor to Ukrainian President Mihail Saakashvili.
Chiril Gaburici said that a trainers’ team, to which Saakashivili is also part and the goal of which is to root out corruption in different sectors, would come to Moldova in two weeks.
“Together with the expertise I will get from development partners, European Union, Ukraine and Georgia, I will come with grounded initiatives for fighting corruption. Moldova needs concrete actions,” Gaburici said.
Chiril Gaburici paid a working visit to Kiev, Ukraine, on 6 May, at an invitation by Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko.
