Working meeting on Transnistrian conflict settlement takes place in Moldova

Chisinau, 8 May /MOLDPRES/ - A working meeting between the Chisinau and Tiraspol political representatives in the Transnistrian conflict settlement, Victor Osipov and Nina Shtanski with the participation of working groups on transport and economy was held at the headquarters of the Organisation for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE) Mission in Chisinau today, the Bureau of Reintegration has reported.

The main topic of the discussions was the interaction mechanism between insurance companies on the two sides of the Dniester River in the field of mandatory liability insurance for motor vehicles. To this effect, a framework mechanism for cooperation between these companies was coordinated and approved by the sides.

Furthermore, the sides discussed the licensing procedures for companies in the region. Victor Osipov stressed that the authorities were willing to find solutions to this problem for these businesses to continue their activity.
