Slovenia 23rd country to ratify Moldova-EU Association Agreement

Chisinau, 14 May /MOLDPRES/- Slovenia ratified the Moldova-EU Association Agreement on 13 May, the head of the Foreign and European Integration Ministry's press service, Ana Taban, has said.

Thus, Slovenia is the 23rd country to ratify the document after Romania, Latvia, Estonia, Malta, Lithuania, Bulgaria, Slovakia, Hungary, Sweden, Poland, Croatia, Denmark, Ireland, Germany, the Netherlands, the Czech Republic, Great Britain, France and Portugal.

The Association Agreement between Moldova and EU was signed on 27 June 2014 and ratified by the Moldovan parliament on 2 July 2014, with the procedure due to be carried out by all EU member states.
