Chisinau hosts meeting of transport ministers from Black Sea Economic Cooperation

Chisinau, 14 May /MOLDPRES/ - Twelve transport ministers of the Black Sea Economic Cooperation (BSEC) today brought together in Chisinau to discuss the main projects on cooperation in the transports sector.
According to the Transports and Roads Infrastructure Ministry, the main topics of the event were focused on collaboration in the transports area, carrying out the principal projects started under the aegis of BSEC, joining efforts to facilitate transports in the Black Sea region, etc.
In his speech, Transport and Roads Infrastructure Minister Vasile Botnari reiterated the interest in BSEC projects.
"We have enough instruments for regional cooperation, yet the biggest challenge is that we fully apply them, by political will of all member states," Botnari said.
The meeting of BSEC transport ministers ended with the adoption of a joint declaration on the organisation's priorities and objectives.
The meeting was held in Chisinau during two days, in the context of Moldova holding the BSEC chairmanship in 2015.
