Moldovan foreign minister meets Slovak counterpart

Chisinau, 15 May /MOLDPRES/ - Deputy Prime Minister, Foreign and European Integration Minister Natalia Gherman met her Slovak counterpart Miroslav Lajčák in Bratislava today, the Foreign and European Integration Ministry’s information and media communication service has reported.
The officials exchanged opinions on the development of the Moldovan-Slovak bilateral ties in various areas, as well as the advancement of the Moldova-EU dialogue.
Gherman praised the constant support provided by Slovakia to Moldova’s European integration, especially the assistance offered to implement the provisions of the Moldova-EU Association Agreement.
For his part, Miroslav Lajčák reiterated Slovakia’s willingness to further maintain Moldova in the list of priority states within the Slovakian government’s cooperation development policy. At the same time, Lajčák reiterated the firm support of Slovakia to give Moldova a European prospect.
The sides also agreed to hold the next meeting of the Moldovan-Slovak joint commission for European integration in the second half of 2015.
