Moldovan MPs to study Slovenia's experience in public health care

Chisinau, 18 May /MOLDPRES/- MPs of the commission on social protection, health and family pay a working visit to Slovenia on 16-20 May, the parliament's communication and public relations department has reported.
The delegation, led by commission's head Oxana Domenti, is made up of lawmakers Valentina Stratan, Gheorghe Brega, Boris Golovin, Petru Stirbate and Elena Hrenova.
The Moldovan MPs will familiarize with Slovenia's experience in the public health and implemented health policies, organisation and work of the public health care institutions, will take over good practices in prevention and control over the public health problems.
Under the agenda, the parliamentary delegation will have meetings with officials of the Slovenian Ministry of Health, Institute for Public Health and Healthcare Inspectorate. The Moldovan lawmakers will also hold talks with the MPs of the specialised commission of Slovenian parliament. At the same time, the lawmakers will visit the National Laboratory of Health, Environment and Food from Maribor, as well as the public health department of the settlement.
The working visit to Slovenia takes place following an invitation by the World Health Organisation.
