Moldovan electoral body launches call centre during electoral campaign

Chisinau, 19 May /MOLDPRES/ - The Central Electoral Commission (CEC) launched a Call Centre on 18 May. The electors may call and found more information about the voting procedure during the local general elections of 14 June, according to a press release by CEC.
Persons responsible for electoral lists within the local public authorities may call up the centre if they have questions regarding the management of the State Register of Voters.
CEC representatives highlight that contestations or petitions cannot be submitted to the Call Centre.
The centre’s information line works from Monday to Friday, between 08:00 – 18:00. The centre may be called at an ordinary tariff, from a landline or mobile telephone from all over Moldova, at the single phone number (+373) 22 880101.
The mentioned call centre is a project carried out by the Centre for Continuous Electoral Training, in partnership with CEC, and UNDP support.
