Moldovan defence minister on visit to Romania

Chisinau, 19 May /MOLDPRES/ - Defence Minister Viorel Cibotaru pays an official visit to Romania, on 19-20 May, at an invitation by his Romanian counterpart Mircea Dusa.
The head of the Public Relations Service of the Defence Ministry, Diana Gradinaru, has said that the two officials would address the bilateral military ties, as well as aspects on the regional situations.
Gradinaru also specified that Cibotaru would also meet Romanian Foreign Minister Bogdan Aurescu, and President of the Chamber of Deputies Valeriu Zgonea.
Viorel Cibotaru will also visit the Military Technical Academy and National Defence University. The official will familiarise with the process of education of military staff, as well as with the possibility to expand bilateral cooperation in the educational area, including by providing a bigger number of scholarships to servicemen of the National Army.
