Thus, Dragos Cimpoies will act as deputy environment minister; Eduard Grama will be deputy agriculture and food minister, and Ivan Florean was appointed as deputy youth and sport minister.
At the beginning of the today meeting, Prime Minister Chiril Gaburici spoke out for the election of the candidate for the post of head of the General Police Inspectorate (IGP) by public contest. Starting last mid-March, Gheorghe Cavcaliuc has been holding the post of acting IGP chief after Ion Bodrug resigned.
"I want we to have clear-cut criteria of selecting the IGP head in two weeks and that we have a candidate to this office in a month time," Gaburici said. According to the prime minister, the commission for selection of the candidate should be made up, in particular, of representatives of the parliament, presidency, civil society and development partners.
