Moldovan electors may check correctness of compilation of voter lists

Chisinau, 25 May /MOLDPRES/ - The Central Electoral Commission (CEC) today issued a press release, thereby informing that, on 25 May - 13 June, the electors may check the correctness of the compilation of the voter lists on the webpage www.cec.md.

Under the electoral legislation, the voter may appeal to the electoral bureau of the polling station corresponding to his/her residence, in order to demand, based on documents, inclusion or exclusion from the list, correcting of the errors committed when the data on him/her or other electors were registered.

The voter may be recorded only in one electoral list and only at one polling station, on the basis of the documents showing his/her place of residence in the perimeter of the concerned polling station.

The electors are registered in the voter lists corresponding to the polling station, on the territory of which they have their residence.
