Chisinau, 26 May /MOLDPRES/ - The State Agency on Intellectual Property (AGEPI) will be re-organised, by turning it from a state enterprise into a public institution. The cabinet took a decision in this respect today.
AGEPI will be subordinated to the government and will be made up of six departments, Contestations Commission and Mediation and Arbitration Centre. AGEPI Director General Lilia Bolocan will take all needed measures to carry out the institution’s re-organisation. The aforementioned project’s implementation does not need additional state budget spending.
AGEPI is an institution in charge of promoting and carrying out activities in the legal protection of intellectual property as to industrial property rights, copyrights and related rights.
