Albanian, Macedonian, Montenegrin citizens to enter Moldova without visas

Chisinau, 3 June /MOLDPRES/ - The citizens of Albania, Macedonia and Montenegro will be able to travel to Moldova without visas. The government approved a draft law to this effect today.
According to Deputy Prime Minister, Foreign and European Integration Minister Natalia Gherman, this action will contribute to developing friendship relations, strengthening economic, trade, scientific, technical and cultural ties with the concerned countries.
The document stipulates the exemption from the mandatory visa requirement for citizens of the three countries, who will enter/ exit, transit or remain temporarily in Moldova for a period of no more than 90 days within a six months after the date of the first entry.
Albania canceled the visa regime with Moldova in May 2014, and Macedonia and Montenegro have expressed willingness to align to the EU decision on abolishing visas for Moldovan citizens.
