Moldovan government's commission for European integration considers fulfillment of commitments within Moldova-EU Association Agreement

Chisinau, 3 June /MOLDPRES/ - Prime Minister Chiril Gaburici today chaired a meeting of the government's Commission for European Integration. The basic subjects on the agenda were focused on the implementation of the measures of enforcing the Moldova-EU Association Agreement, the government's communication and media relations department has reported.
In the context, Chiril Gaburici warned about the maintaining of a permanent communication between the governmental institutions and the parliament, in order to achieve real progress in carrying out the European agenda.
At the same time, the Commission members ascertained the need to speed up actions to observe the terms of promotion of the normative and legislative acts and, respectively, liquidate the debts in the sectoral areas, signaled at previous meetings this year.
The prime minister demanded unconditional fulfillment of all commitments taken in line with the provisions of the Moldova-EU Association Agreement. "It is important that the process of enforcing the Association Agreement be as dynamic as possible, without delays and debts. The reforms will be the most solid arguments for recognizing the European prospect," the prime minister stressed.
In this context, the participants in the meeting ruled that the State Chancellery works out a schedule of presenting, at cabinet meetings, of draft laws returned by the parliament, according to the procedure applicable in case a new legislative period starts, in order to manage to approve and submit the drafts to parliament in optimum terms.
At the same time, Foreign and European Integration Minister Natalia Gherman unveiled the actions undertaken to coordinate, along with all the concerned institutions, the up-dating of the National Action Plan for the implementation of the Association Agreement, taking into account the developments in enforcing its provisions.
Also, the participants in the meeting discussed the results of the experts' meetings, held with EU within the Association Agreement, and the actions needed to be undertaken in the context of the meetings due to take place on the immediately next period.
