Moldovan premier unveils government's activity report for first 100 days of governance

Chisinau, 4 June /MOLDPRES/ - The expanding of ties with the Transnistrian authorities, initiative to get the Prosecution out of the politics’ influence, charging high-ranking officials of the Banca de Economii (State Saving Bank), etc., are just a few of the achievements highlighted by Prime Minister Chiril Gaburici when presenting the government's activity report for the first 100 days of governance today. 

Gaburici said that, during the 100 days of work, the government had continued the reforms underway and put the European integration in the top of the priorities' list. 

Chiril Gaburici informed that judges and MPs would be able to be called to account based on the government’s petitions. At the same time, Gaburici referred to the reduction of the number of documents needed for export and import from 11 to 3 for economic agents, grants gained by Moldova to support agriculture, indexation of pensions by 7.9 per cent and about the 1,000 km of roads due to be repaired, after 1.5 billion lei had been earmarked from the Road Fund. 

Gaburici added that fighting corruption continued to be the most serious problem of Moldova and he would try to ensure transparency and efficiency of public institutions. 

„The government I lead and me personally, as prime minister, will work continuously in order to ensure the implementation of the three goals we set: national unity, rule of law state, sustainable economy,” Gaburici said. 

The parliament voted with 60 pros for the Gaburici government on 18 February 2015. Previously, Chiril Gaburici had served as director general of a mobile company from Moldova.
