Moldovan official paper's roundup for 12 June

Chisinau, 12 June /MOLDPRES/ - A regulation on the distribution of the fund for subsidizing agricultural producers for 2015 was published in the Official Paper (Monitorul Oficial) today.

The regulation contains the lists of activities and eligible risks for granting subsidies, and also describes how to get the funds.

Under the document, agricultural producers may benefit from grants not exceeding 2.5 million lei, except for the groups of producers for whom the amounts offered are extended to 4 million lei. Based on the investments made in 2014, farmers may apply for grants through an application submitted to the Agency for Intervention and Payments for Agriculture (AIPA).

The fund for subsidizing agriculture amounts to 610 million lei for 2015, almost twice less than the farmers are demanding.
