Moldovan Communist leader votes for order in Chisinau city

Chisinau, 14 June /MOLDPRES/ - The leader of the Party of Communists (PCRM), Vladimir Voronin, today voted for order in Chisinau city.
Voronin came together with his wife to the polling station and said that he voted for a mayor who would make order in Chisinau and would fight corruption. ”I vote for a prosperous and no corruption city,” Voronin said.
Local general elections take place in Moldova today. During them, the citizens will elect 898 mayors and 11,680 local councillors. The amount of 98 million lei was earmarked from the state budget in order to organise the elections.
