Chisinau to host meeting of BSEC foreign ministers

Chisinau, 16 June /MOLDPRES/- Moldova will host a meeting of council of foreign ministers of member states of Black Sea Economic Cooperation (BSEC), on the occasion of the end of Moldova's mandate, held in January-June 2015, the Foreign and European Integration Ministry's communication and media relations service has reported.

The meeting will be chaired by Deputy Prime Minister, Foreign and European Integration Minister Natalia Gherman, as acting head of the council of ministers. Attending the event will be Parliament Speaker Andrian Candu and BSEC Secretary General, Ambassador Victor Tvircun.

The officials are to tackle the achievements got by Moldova's chairmanship during the mandate, social and economic development of member states, as well as evolutions in the region.

At the end, a ceremony of taking over BSEC chairmanship by Romania will take place.
