Chisinau, 16 June /MOLDPRES/ - A national centre of pre-hospital emergency care will be created in Moldova, according to a today cabinet decision.
At the government meeting, Health Minister Mircea Buga said that the centre would be a public health care institution due to bring together all regional emergency medical stations and substations. This will create a homogeneous structure, a well-organised service nationally, that will uniformly manage the subordinated stations and substations. Hence, administrative costs will be cut.
Currently, pre-hospital emergency medical care is provided in Moldova through five regional stations, 42 substations and 88 urgent medical assistance points.
