New top court judge on behalf of Moldovan government appointed

Chisinau, 3 May /MOLDPRES/ - The cabinet, at a today’s meeting, approved the appointment of Victoria Iftodi as judge of the Constitutional Court (CC) on behalf of the government for a six-year term, the government’s communication and protocol department has reported.

It is worth mentioning that the cabinet organized a contest for filling the position of CC judge, after the mandate of judge of one of the two CC members appointed by the government had expired on 14 April 2017.
