Moldovan deputy premier meets participants in Bodyguard 2017 world championship

Chisinau, 18 September /MOLDPRES/ – Deputy Prime Minister, Gheorghe Balan, had a meeting with chiefs of state security services teams from eighteen countries today, which participated in World Championship Bodyguard – 2017, organized for the first time in Moldova. The teams from Austria, Azerbaijan, Bulgaria, Belarus, China, Croatia, Georgia, Israel, Jordan, Kazakhstan, Latvia, Serbia, Slovakia, Qatar, Romania, Moldova, Ukraine and Hungary participated in the issue of 2017, the office for reintegration policies’ press service has reported.
Gheorghe Balan thanked the organizers for the good event performance and wished to participating countries’ representatives in the championship success in carrying out their professional activities. He said that similar exercises were needed for proper preparation of security and safety officers who have been at risk, but also for the entire society’s safety. The deputy premier said that the authorities would make efforts to develop that segment and ensure a high level of preparedness.
The deputy PM revealed on the occasion that specificity of each participating country, exchange of experience in World Championship Bodyguard – 2017 enriched substantially the professional skills of the security staff.
