Moldova, Estonia mark 25th anniversary of diplomatic relations' establishment

Chisinau, 10 November /MOLDPRES/ – The Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Foreign Affairs and European Integration, Andrei Galbur and the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Estonia, Sven Mikser, have exchanged today letters of congratulations on the occasion of the 25th anniversary of establishment of diplomatic relations between the Republic of Moldova and the Republic of Estonia, the MAEIE’s public diplomacy, strategic communication and media interaction service has reported.
In the letter of the Head of Moldovan diplomacy is mentioned that, during 25 years of diplomatic relations, the political Moldovan-Estonian dialogue has increasingly developed and the bilateral cooperation between the states has been strengthened in various fields of common interest. Minister Galbur expressed his confidence that this occasion is not only a moment of celebration but also a good one for seeking ways to further expand the cooperation between the two countries.
In turn, the Estonian counterpart Sven Mikser has appreciated the good relations of friendship and bilateral cooperation during the 25 years since the establishment of diplomatic relations. Sven Mikser also notet that Republic of Estonia will further support the dialogue between the Republic of Moldova with European Union.
Note: Diplomatic relations between the Republic of Moldova and the Republic of Estonia were established on November 10th, 1992.
