Moldovan parliament approves resignation of Supreme Court of Justice magistrate

Chisinau, 17 November /MOLDPRES/ – Magistrate of the Supreme Court of Justice (CSJ), Ghenadie Nicolaev, was dismissed. The parliament approved today his resignation with the majority votes of the MPs.
The chairman of the Juridical, Appointments and Immunities commission, Raisa Apolischi, stated at the hearing that "the magistrate was released on the basis of a resignation application which had been previously accepted by the Superior Council of Magistracy (CSM)."
The decision shall enter into force on the date of its approval.
Ghenadie Nicolaev has been a judge at the Supreme Court of Justice since 2007. Previously, he worked at the District Court in Criuleni and at the Court of Appeal in Chisinau.
