Chisinau, 9 July /MOLDPRES/ - Representatives of the Reintegration Policies Bureau today went to Dubasari, where they handed seven certificates for an area of 1,750.6 hectares, which allow access and tilling farmlands placed beyond the highway Rabnita-Tiraspol. The certificates were handed in the presence of the competent decision-makers on behalf of the local public administration, enterprises and farmlands’ owners from the eastern Dubasari district
According to the Reintegration Policies Bureau, the action took place as a result of the concerns expressed by Deputy Prime Minister Cristina Lesnic at a meeting of the 1+1 working format on 2 July 2018. The Moldovan official showed perplexity about the issuance of an insignificant number of certificates to allow access and tilling farmlands placed beyond the Rabnita-Tiraspol highway and agreed with the Tiraspol side on the need to boost this process.
Thus, 21 certificates for an overall area of 2,448 hectares have been issued so far.
Also, decision-makers established a new working schedule for the current week, as a result of which new certificates will issued.
It is worth mentioning that, starting from 2014, the owners of farmlands from the Dubasari district have not had access to their lands placed beyond the aforementioned highway and before this year, the right to use the lands had been established annually.
