Moldovan speaker visits Huawei's exhibition center in Beijing

Chisinau, 13 September /MOLDPRES/- The parliamentary delegation, led by Speaker Zinaida Greceanii visited on 12 September Huawei Company Exhibition Center in Beijing and discussed with its representatives, the parliament’s communication and public relations department has reported.
New models of smart technology, advanced technological solutions for home use, medical diagnosis, operational control of localities, emergency devices and equipment, as well as advanced educational technologies etc. were presented to the Moldovan delegation.
The delegation was welcomed by Huawei's Vice President, Frank Ren, who said that the Huawei company present on the Moldovan market will continue to invest and contribute to the improvement of information networks and help our country in transforming digitization of IT sector.
In the context, Zinaida Greceanîi said that attracting new investment projects, including in the IT field, is a priority for the Republic of Moldova. "We are impressed by what we have seen here and we want the Huawei company to develop cooperation and exchange of best practices with students, educational institutions and companies in the Republic of Moldova," the speaker said.
Huawei activity in the Republic of Moldova was presented by the management of the company representation in our country - country director Zhang Fan and deputy head Andrei Slesari, who spoke about the implemented projects and those under implementation.
It was the last day of the working visit of the delegation to China.
The agenda included participation in the Euro-Asian Economic Forum and several meetings, including with the Chairman of the Standing Committee of the National Assembly of People's Representatives from China, Li Zhanshu.
Also, Greceaniii discussed with Deputy Prime Minister of the People's Republic of China Hu Chunhua, governor of Shaanxi Province, leadership of Shanghai Municipality and other officials.
The delegation was made up of Head of the Friendship Parliamentary Group Moldova - China, deputy head of the Foreign Policy and Integration Commission Vlad Batrîncea, Chairman of the Commission for National Security, Defense and Public Order Chiril Moţpan, deputy head of the Commission for Social Protection, Health and Family Vladimir Odnostalco, deputy head of the commission on agriculture and food industry Vladimir Bolea and Secretary General of parliament Adrian Albu.
The Republic of Moldova established diplomatic relations with the People's Republic of China on January 30, 1992.
