Speaker attends plenary session of Moldovan-Russian economic forum

Chisinau, 21 September /MOLDPRES/- Parliament Speaker Zinaida Greceanîi attended a plenary session on new political realities, new possibilities of economic cooperation, which took place today within the second Moldovan-Russian economic forum.

According to the parliament’s communication and public relations department, Greceanii welcomed participants and guests of the event and said that the forum will be a new beginning in cooperation relations between Moldova and Russia.

The speaker noted that the authorities are taking measures to allow foreign investors to enjoy beneficial conditions of activity, referring in particular to the efforts of the parliamentary majority to maintain political stability.

The second edition of the Moldovan-Russian Economic Forum takes place in Chisinau on September 19-21. It brought together numerous companies from the Russian Federation, whose cumulative capitalization represents almost 25 billion dollars. In the forum, businessmen from Moldova and the Russian Federation discuss issues and opportunities in Moldovan-Russian cooperation, industrial and human potential, as well as the benefits of our country.
