Chisinau, 23 September /MOLDPRES/- The 23 September meeting of the parliamentary committee on economy, budget and finance, at which the candidates selected for the position of director of the Board of the Administration of the National Agency for Energy Regulation (ANRE), has been postponed.
Commission head Igor Munteanu today said that the decision was taken after, in the last days, several documents were sent to the Commission indicating some inconsistencies, which affect the integrity and professionalism criteria of the candidates admitted to the final stage of the competition.
"In the last days we have received more data indicating the obligation of the commission to check them further. These are certain steps forwarded to ANI and CNA, which are sufficiently important, and for a thorough verification of these facts, an additional period is needed ”, mentioned Igor Munteanu.
According to MP of the Democratic Party of Moldova Sergiu Sârbu, the contest was postponed "for no reason".
The competition for the position of director of the Board of Directors of ANRE was launched in July. In the first stage, five participants submitted applications, two of them being admitted to the second stage of the competition.
