Moldovan parliament speaker meets President of Armenia's National Assembly

Chisinau, 23 September /MOLDPRES/ - Moldova and Armenia must extend the cooperation also on the parliamentary dimension, while preserving the positive dynamic in the present political dialogue at the level of the heads of state, Parliament Speaker Zinaida Grecianii has said at a meeting with President of Armenia National Assembly Ararat Mirzoyan, the parliament’s communication and public relations department has reported.
The Moldovan official reiterated the authorities’ determination to further promote a balanced foreign policy, in the interest of Moldova’s citizens. Zinaida Grecianii spoke out for an open, constructive and pragmatic dialogue. In the context, the Moldovan official stressed the need to boost the economic exchanges.
The sides agreed on the necessity to cooperate more intensely on regional and international platforms. The president of the Armenian National Assembly invited the Moldovan parliament speaker on an official visit.
The meeting took place on the sidelines of the Forum of Parliament Speakers from the Eurasian Countries, held in the Nur-Sultan city, Kazakhstan, on 23-24 September.
