Moldovan president meets World Economic Forum head

Chisinau, 24 September /MOLDPRES/- Following the visit to New York, President Igor Dodon met with Head of World Economic Forum Børge Brende, the presidential press service has reported.
Igor Dodon emphasized Moldova’s interest in cooperation with this influential Forum, noting several areas of interest, such as human development, climate change and others. At the same time, the head of state confirmed the willingness of our country to get involved in various initiatives and projects of the Forum.
In this context, he expressed interest in attending the 50th meeting of the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland, due in January 2020.
The president reiterated that the country is interested in attracting direct investments in the national economy, in various areas such as – trade, agricultural, IT development etc.
