Chisinau, 24 September /MOLDPRES/- In an age of geopolitical tensions, Moldova aims to become a point of cooperation and trust in relation to all external partners, Parliament Speaker Zinaida Greceanîi said at the opening of the 4th meeting of the speakers from the Eurasian countries, Greater Eurasia: Dialogue.Trust.Partnership, held in Nur-Sultan, Kazakhstan, the parliament’s communication and public relations department has reported.

The speaker noted that Moldova promotes a balanced foreign policy, the status of political-military neutrality and openness towards all external partners both in the West and in the East.

Moldova is part of two important free economic zones: the European Union and the Community of Independent States. This makes us an attractive strategic and commercial partner for boosting integration processes, as well as for launching projects that include the development potential of the Eurasian Union, CIS and EU countries.

Greceanii emphasized the importance Moldova attaches to cooperation with the Eurasian Economic Union, where the country has observer status. "The Republic of Moldova is aiming to expand cooperation and is ready to get involved in several projects within the Eurasian Economic Union," the official said.

"The Republic of Moldova has a lot to offer to external partners, especially the countries with which we have a common history, the same political and economic interests," Greceanii said.

Greceanii participates in the Forum of speakers from the Eurasian countries. Attending the event are speakers from 65 countries from Europe and Asia and heads of 14 international and interparliamentary organizations.
